NATO AIRSHIELD FOR UKRAINE? Germany's fear of being drawn into Putin's war CDU politician Roderich Kiesewetter has made an urgent demand to the western states: they should take over air defense over western Ukraine. According to Kiesewetter, this move is in accordance with international law and is not intended to shoot down Russian aircraft, but to intercept Russian missiles and drones.
